... so much for 2 weeks notice next week.
my boss came by "there will be information about the voluntary packages in the next 2 weeks"... the 'voluntary packages' would give me a severance that i just cant NOT stick around for ...
dammit dammit dammit...
but if i do get the package but have to stay more than a month or so, i dont think i'm going to accept it... and of course, if i dont get it, i'll turn in my notice 1 minute after that...

It sucks to have to spend a large portion of your day dealing with a sh*ty situation.

Oh bummer. But at least you'll know soon, either way. And it might be a tad easier with an end in sight, even if its one that further away than you'd like. *hugs*
thanks... i REALLY didnt want to go through another bid run (and another Saturday work day)... gah!!
im tempted to not give a full 2 weeks if i dont get the voluntary option... but then i believe they can hold my vacation pay... not sure though.
Oh yeah, they'd definitely do that here, if they wanted to be a$$holes about it.
