I love it!!! Though I don't know your last name. :) Does it "match"? (I also ran it by some real-life friends and they give it a 2 thumbs up.)

I like it too! And I think it really "matches" your surname. Its interesting but not "weird" like some names (I'd put my first name in the same category as Ayerton :)

Are you still tossing up on the pretty girls names you like?

thanks guys.. :)
we do need a middle name though.. I'm not going to stress over it until we find out gender (3 more weeks).

girl will be Adelaide Sloan(e??) probably with an e at the end..

I like the name! It's unique but not weird. And She I like your first name it is nice.

For a girl I love the name Sloane! (even if its for a middle name)

I love Adelaide.

Don't love Ayerton, like it (though I think it could easily grow on me and it *is* a strong name), but don't love it..sorry. (And no, it is not because I was pusing for Rowan 'cause he's a cute little bean in your belly :)

I guess I say that because I grew up with a name that I couldn't buy anything personalized for. I hated that. Still don't love my name. All my friends could buy pencils or pens or note pads or license plates for their bikes or locker tags or book covers, or or or and I couldn't even find something for me in a Christian bookstore, how odd is that?
Having said that, maybe that's a girly reaction, and Ayerton *is* a boy's name. ;)

It does sound like he could easily be a lawyer or CEO or businessman of some sort, and that's not such a bad thing. I truly believe your name is a large part of what shapes you and I think it would shape him pretty well.

Since I work in neonatology I see loads of names, good, bad and otherwise. I have yet to hear of an Ayerton, but it also isn't "weird" or "odd" which makes it a good thing in that there won't be 15 of them in his graduating class.

And definitely, an "e" at the end of Sloane for a girl. Very nice combo.

im still back and forth on Ayerton... i agree with e at the end for Sloane

i am blessed with a modest baby whatever it is, so who knows???? i LOVE David for a boy but DH doesnt even like it enough for a middle name... *sigh*
