ok so i look like a freaking tree trunk ... literally ...
at least pre-plastics i had a waist ... now not only am i straight up and down, but im THICKLY straight up and down ...
and yes, i know its swelling and i know it will go down, but i want it gone NOW dammit.
i love not having the gut, but not having a waist is awful.

You'll be there before you know it. In the scheme of everything you've done so far, this is such a small blip! At least you've had the surgery, the tough part is over! :)
You could always put a belt or something around your waist under clothing to give the illusion of a waist...hehe. I'm sure it will be fine! Plus, think of all the progress you'll make once you can exercise again, with that silly pannus gone! (Of course, I'd kill for a size 16 right now..)
This was something I feared too, that I'd end up looking more boyish that womanly if they pulled everything *too* tight (well not that I actually have to worry about it in real life ha). BUT, I'm sure once the swelling goes down, the magic of the lipo will come into play and you'll have a lovely contour. It sucks waiting though, I know *hugs*
