w1/d1 notes/activity 737 cals

today is day 1 of my challenge to myself.

last night i read the book by Bob Greene Total Body Makeover. it basically gives me the structure that i need to get my ass in gear and drop this weight for good.

i really did not want to get up and start working out today. it's sunday and we slept in a bit, it took a lot of just sitting there w/ my DD and DH before i got moving.

so i drove to the gym and did my cardio. i really pushed myself harder than i have lately.

workout summary - 737 cals

  • treadmill for 30 mins (2 min cooldown)
  • up to 10.5% incline
  • up to 3.7 MPH (short bursts - not long)
  • Heartrate - Max = 159 (88%) Average = 137 (76%)
    • 60 - 70% = 3min 25sec
    • 70 - 80% = 19min 44sec
    • 80 - 90% = 8min 58sec

overall a very good workout
