ok ... i was on LBT just now and saw a ticker with holly leaves in it ... i thought how stupid is that (i know - im not very nice sometimes...)

but thinking ... i need a long term goal...

fuck that - i need goals to strive for ... both short and long term... i'll be thinking of some in the next few days (maybe next few hours if work allows it ...) but i need to challenge myself...

LOL - that totally made me chortle (yah that's right I said chortle).

My goal right now is 100lbs lost in a year, and 10'ish lbs lost per month. Not sure how realistic this is but time will tell. I don't lose exactly 10 per month but if you work out how much I've lost and and how may months it's been it's almost 10 lbs per month - I'm sure that will peter out soon though *sigh*I need to get my arse in gear.

I have a couple of goals, actually, but no real defined time frame to reach them in. I want to weigh 140 pounds when I go for plastics. Whenever that will be, who knows. I HAD planned on August, but I've had a bunch of bills that I didn't plan on because of some medical bills and my wreck, so that may be delayed a few months (maybe longer). My long term goal is to weigh 125 pounds. Why, I don't know. Well, I sort of do, it's the weight I was in 7th grade when my gym teacher weighed me. It's not a set-in-stone goal, though. If I find that I'm really happy somewhere between 140 and 125, I'll stop there. (I'm determined to reach at least 140, though, because I've promised myself plastics when I hit that goal.)

My immediate goal is to not have to return to the ER again tomorrow. I've had enough for this week.

Second, I want to get my knee back to its preinjury running ability and complete a darn half marathon at last.

Third, I want to be at goal for my sisters wedding in Feb 2009.

We'll see how I go with those...
