worst PB ever... kind of graphic

damn . NO warning what so ever. I was DONE with dinner (1/4 piece of salmon) the pain was unbearable. it was the first time I actually *slimed*... and I didnt really PB, I threw up.. gut wrentching throwing up. I just hope I didnt slip my band.

will have more about my work outs later.

my last fill

well it seems that my last fill has really worked...

my first day of 'normal' meals and we went for b-fast. about 1/3 of a
mini-denver omelet, 2 bites of a potato chunk, 1/4 piece of toast and
if I have one more bite I am going to explode (or PB really badly).

yay.. good restriction ... psychologically though, not so good. I
WANTED to eat more... I really need to work on that...

OMG ... leg muscles!

no wonder my thighs have been killing me ... my muscles are starting to define more... i know i have a long (L O N G) way to go, but if you look towards the left, you can see the muscle definition... yay me ...

had my fill today ... had liquids only but not the best choices ... will try to do better tomorrow

16 Aug work out

had a very good workout with Steph today. we did an interval 4 times, worked bike, shoulders, hamstrings, more shoulders/arms, obliques - thats all i can remember.

she knows just how hard to push me which i really like. what i love is that she gives me a great variety!

i am so excited. i am really bloated (feel F A T) today... and 2 women at the gym (never chatted with them before) told me how proud they were of me and am looking good.

i SO needed that today! :)

the good news is - - da da duhhhh... - even with a visit from TOM and eating the SF candy last night, down 5/8 of a pound.... sooooooooo close to 279. i even tried to push it to 279 7/8 and the scale just would not let me... oh well. now i have something to look forward to tomorrow!

15 aug food

well it started off good but PMS kicked in ... i did have 'chocolate' - at least it was the sugar free stuff ... and of course it just slid thru the band ...

i am really disappointed in myself. having DH get rid of the remaining chocolate in the house. i dont really even care what he does with it.

15 August work out (lack of) and stuff

i did not go this morning. my clothes are in my gym bag in the car in case i get a wild hair and go after work.

i'm having thigh issues. they are sore. really sore and i dont want to over exhert them.

since i didnt go work out today, i couldnt get on their scale, but i did get on mine and it said 278.6 ... i am not going to log it as my official wt until i see it on the scale at 24 hour fitness.

i go in for a fill tomorrow. my restriction is pretty much gone, i am just hoping that nothing has slipped or anything ... that would be a very bad thing! i just hope they can fill me properly. i am tighter in the mornings but they didnt have any afternoons available for a couple of weeks. you'd think since the demand was so high, they would hire someone / do something to accommodate more people! oh well..

i think TOM is coming ... yay

13 August food

I worked out with Steph today. she really is great! i really like the variety she gives me, although it does almost kill me.

we worked arms, shoulders and legs today. of course balance was part of the arm work out. not a pretty sight!!

i am down another 2-ish pounds today and that brings me to 122.2 gone. i am in the double digits "to go". of course, it is 99.8 to go, but hey, gotta start somewhere!!

i upped the intensity / resistance on the bike today. my average is usually 2-4 resistance. today i was a minimum of 5 and went up to 7. i still did 7.75 miles in a little over 21 minutes. not too shabby. of course my legs were burning!

11 August food

it was a good day...

had a great dinner. sausage quiche. i will post the recipe on my website soon. i also made cheesecake which i have in my food "budget" but have not eaten yet... it is SOOOO easy and sooooooo good (and low carb friendly!!!)

i am tweaking my website right now - www.losing-jusme.com i hope to have some progress on it soon.

so this whole "free day" issue ...

well, it worked for me. in a very nice way.

i am now almost 120 pounds down! gack!! 30 more to go til my next mini goal of 150 gone. i hope to be able to do it by October 8 - my 'bandiversary'

i did come up with some guidelines for my free days... i think i will limit them to twice a month.

not bad - kept it very low carb.

i am not planning to work out tomorrow, not sure about Sunday yet. i am anxious to see what the scale will read Monday morning.

((tmi warning))) well, weight was up a bit this morning, but ummm, i think it was food still in my body that needed to be eliminated...

so i am only up a little bit - about 1 5/8. not bad considering my food fest yesterday. when i do this again, i am going to try and not make it like yesterday. that was not the best idea...

good news - i am back on track today!!

well i can see now how i got to 402 lbs ... my 'free' day was almost 3500 cals ... but i got the stuff i've been really wanting out of my system ... and yup, i am logging everything. oh boy.

only did about 7 minutes on the bike today, but i had a 55 minute session w/ Steph this morning. oh boy, i am so tired!! she really knows how to push me and takes me farther than where Keri took me so tahts a good thing.

another good thing - down almost 2 pounds so i must be doing something right... : )

only did about 30 mins of cardio, but i also did ab work so it was a nice work out. i have a training session with Steph tomorrow and i have to go in on Friday to see what my "free day" did to me weight wise. i will be at the gym for 9 straight days ... i think i will take Saturday off!!

07aug food


lots of carbs today... i wanted crackers and dip. i had 6 crackers ... not horrible, not great ... just there ... they did taste pretty good though.

07Aug work out

when i talked with Stephanie yesterday she suggested i up my resistance on the elliptical (i was going w/ a resistance of 1 but with an incline). today i upped it to 4 and got a great work out! in fact, i did one of my fastest miles - a tad over 11 minutes.

not so great news is that i am up .75 pound since yesterday. i am really trying not to obsess over it and just log it so i can track everything, but it's hard when the scale wont cooperate. i just need to remain focused and drink drink drink that stupid water ... :)

i am SOOO superstitious that i refuse to have "13" miles, so after i got on the bike i did (very quick) math and was like, OH NO ... i've done 13 miles today ... so i got on the elliptical for an additional .25 miles. when i got to work, i figured out i was over 13 miles and didnt really need the additional (it was really early). but the extra didnt kill me so wasnt too bad.
tonight is picture night, so i will post them either tonight or tomorrow...

06Aug work out and stuff

happy Monday! i cant believe it's Monday already!!


i am starting a 12 week challenge. more information can be found here. that is a google spreadsheet with my weight and work out information.

DD woke up at 4:00 crawling in our bed.... i dont think so ... DH brought her back to her room, but she didnt like it, I went in to check on her and figured since i was awake anyway, i might as well go work out. i had a nice (short) cardio work out before my 1/2 training session. we did some really difficult things that i think i may eventually like, but oh boy.

one was a ball bridge.. the closest one i found is the stability ball hip bridge found here. we also did curls while standing on one leg... four sets of ten ... *sigh* i am going to be so sore tomorrow. but it was good.

i am down 8.75 pounds for this week. not too shabby. can i keep it up? i am going to try my hardest.

05aug food

happy 100 posts ... :)

tired, need to get up early to work out tomorrow, here is my food for the day. i couldnt find info for a bunless Sonic so i improvised... i think it is a tad high, but i'd rather be high than low.

i got out of bed at 645 this morning and was at the gym when it opened ... gack! what is wrong with me ... **grin**

i am down about 8.5 this week!! OMG! i am so excited! 285.25!! 32.75 til my next mini goal of 150. GAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

04aug food

i've been really bad with logging my food here. it feels like i log it in a billion other places, and here it's almost a nuisance...

i am going to try though. i'll just take a picture snapshot of one of the programs i use. also ... i havent exactly been logging everything lately.

**sigh** i pb'd on crystal light this afternoon. it was aweful. i ate my lunch and just out of the blue took a huge gulp ... i knew immediately it was coming back up. not a pretty sight! nothing solid came up though, so that's a good thing.

The Atkins item for Starbucks lovers ...

I just had my first (and definitely not last) Cafe Caramel Creme Latte Shake from Atkins. WOW!!!! tasted like a frappuccino! i threw it in the freezer for about 15 minutes and voila! nice and slushy.

would definitely recommend! and it only has a total of 4 carbs (2 net carbs but i'm not counting that way).

02 August 2007

i had my first session with my new trainer today. she totally kicked my ass. it was amazing. so much that i immediately told her for now i'd like to see her for 2 sessions a week (1 1/2 hours). i worked on abs (crunches), then did an interval of weights (both manual and machine) then elliptical. it was perfect!!

eating has been much better. i am on a very low carb version of Atkins (not many veggies to keep the carbs to a minimum for now). not sure if i am in ketosis, but i'm feeling pretty good.

i am down almost 5 pounds since Monday, so this whole diet/exercising works!! imagine that.

let's see how long i can do this. my hope is to drop a total of 150 by 08 October (my 1 year bandiversary). i have 36 1/2 pounds to go. hopefully i'll be able to make it.
