ok ok ok ... :P

so i was told i need to post more often... i will really try to do that ... i really will, but no promises.


you can follow me on facebook (under my real name is most active) or twitter.com/losingjusme   right now, i'm better with short little bursts of stuff ... i also have a running blog as i've signed up for 2 half marathons and a full marathon... my first half is in AUGUST... eeeeeek!!!  the full is in December and 2nd half is March 2010.

so that means i am getting my ass back to the gym on a regular basis, i am filled to about 6 or 6.5 ccs in my band (going every other week for fills cause my doc is great!!), i think i have good restriction right now... i did get a small piece of pork chop stuck tonight ... it didnt cause sliming, etc, but it just wouldnt go down... so i took a gulp of crystal light and up it came... now i dont recommend doing this all the time, but if you're stuck ONCE IN AWHILE, i see no problem doing it... i will be on liquids my next 2 meals because of it...

sooooo... i think im f'ing nuts...

most know we adopted our very DD from China a few years ago...

Chicago - full marathon (no half option) 12 October... that gives me about 7 months to prepare for it... slowest speed i could do is a consistent 4 miles per hour. i can walk that (errr... could walk that before plastics)...

do i want to try? am i stupid for even thinking about it??

missed it by that much..

grrrrr. missed beating my fastest time by 5 seconds. I knew I was
close so I really kicked it up towards the end. I ended up running
the last 90 seconds at over 5.6 mph and the final 30 seconds at
6.0 mph!! OMG I thought my legs were going to fall off.

workout sucked

not rocked - SUCKED ...

i forgot my running shoes at home and didnt wanna go home to pick them up... so i used my aerobic shoes .. big mistake.

due to my fucked up toe, they were really tight and i could barely walk. so i did .25 on tmill and 3 on bike ... then i stretched, did a few crunches and then went grocery shopping ...

shitty workout.

oh well, at least eating is on track today.

will run tomorrow.

went running today...

I guess i had forgotten how incredible I feel after I run. it wasn't
really even running much, walking at 4.3 mph and then I did a 5.2 or
5.3 burst for a little bit.

fuck again ...

i dont know if it is true hunger or head hunger but i want to eat everything under the sun...

EVERYTHING.UNDER.THE.SUN... really

so far, i've made OK choices. had a shake for breakfast (fucking 26 degrees here this morning), 14 almonds, more almonds, yup, more almonds maybe another serving of 28 total, maybe a tad more, tad less...

my pouch is full, but i am not... does that make any sense? nopers ...

and i am FUCKING FUCK FUCK cold... wearing long sleeved dress, workout jacket and a cardigan over that ... still cold.

i need to just suck it up and buy some tights or maybe just pantyhose (shudder) would help. yup, i have bare legs

it is SOOOOO TOM so i am hoping that is why my weight is up (270.4fuckyouverymuch!)

tired, crabby, fuck... i did run this morning. went a mile, my stupid nike+ thingy registered 1.5 miles ... fuck again

i ran again today

What a great sweaty mess i was this morning.

1 mile total on the crappy hotel treadmill and about 7 miles on the bike.

It felt amazing!!!

Not sure what my schedule is going to be this week with running, etc. i do have a trainer appt Saturday.

maybe im not a runner..

week 3 of couch to 5K is not going well for me. :(

i did my 90 seconds of running, then my 90 seconds of walking and just couldnt do the 3 minute run. i dunno what it was / is... my calves cramped up like a mother and it hurt just to walk, much less run.

now, 3 hours later my legs are crampy, my feet need a REALLY good rub/massage and my right glute is achey... i did walk over 3 miles. 2 miles on the treadmill (31 mins) then i went to a new park to scope out the new trail. its a pretty good one that i will more than likely go to. it does have a slight incline, but i can deal with it. i did a lap (.298 miles) in 5:21.4. next time i will time the entire run/walk (ok, i walked 99.5% of the time). i may even go tomorrow ...

WTF????

i want to run ... i love the rush of running ... why wont my body cooperate?? and i'm not running fast at all ... 4.4 is my 'average'. i even dropped down the speed to 4.2 and i just couldnt do it.

so instead of c25k - this is what i did:
30 seconds running 4.2
1 min walking 3.5-3.9
45 seconds running 4.4
2 min walking 3.5-3.9
1 min running 4.4
2 min walking 3.5-3.9
1 min 15 sec running 4.4
2 min walking 3.5-3.9
45 secs running 4.5
cool down.

this is nowhere where i want to be ... NOWHERE... i am disappointed in myself and my will power (or lack there of..) im depressed. the one good thing - my eating was on target today! in fact, there are some "brownie bites" (that i bought this weekend and had 3-4ish), and didnt have any today! yay me.

i need to work on posting my food all the time - not just my good days ... **eye roll**

running gear

we went to Run On Dallas today.

bought a reflective top and some shorts. the top is a LADIES XL!!!!
wooo fucking hoooo!!!

first outdoor run - a bust

a combination of too many new things.. new shoes (tied too tight I
think), new trail, trail with slight inclines, DH and DD were with me,
too much of a distraction I think, I didnt properly stretch..

too many excuses. :( next time I need to just suck it up and run. I
feel like crap that I couldn't do it. I did get a nice mile walk in,
but that's not any consolation..
