holy shit! i need to do in September what i did in August and i may make my 150 lb goal!! holy shit!
you bet your ass i worked out today. only did 8.61 miles, but 3.25 were on the elliptical. LOVED it. i am feeling somewhat better, went back to the doctor and she gave me a steroid shot and apparently that really boosted my energy!! ; )
i have a training appointment tomorrow at 9, this is so very cool!! My September goal will be 240 miles of bike / elliptical.

29August work out - yup i worked out
ok, so i made my challenge. i've biked or ellipticalled ; ) 220+ miles in August. if i wasnt sick i would probably be about 235ish... i think that's what i am going to make as my goal for September.
i did gain a tad yesterday because of all the carbs, but it was less than 1/2 a pound so i am OK with that. getting back on the ball today. i cannot wait for my shake to chill though ... i am so hungry / thirsty ...
i still am not feeling 100% and cancelled my appt with Steph tomorrow. but i did schedule one for Saturday morning (ugh! 8am!!)
definitely not the fastest mile i have done...

lunch - chicken w/ szechuan (sp??) sauce, pineapples, orange sauce, white rice ... (it was a mongolian grill)
peanut butter / chocolate fiddle faddle type food (poppy cock??)

tomorrow, new leaf - again. i think i am well enough to go work out tomorrow. my left ear is still somewhat blocked but this cycle of bad behavior will not let me lose another 22.3 pounds in just over a month.

i did have carbs yesterday. i am really not feeling well and wanted wonton soup and something spicy.
we went to a Chinese buffet .. i did not do horrible at all.
i had my wonton soup and 3 pieces of general tso chicken with a 1/2 scoop fried rice.
i did also have 1 almond cookie (small) and 2 choc chip cookies. so i am very happy i didnt gain.
i did not work out this morning because i literally cannot breathe... **sigh** i just want to feel better, is that too much to ask??

7.45 pounds gone last week
wooooo freaking hooooooo...
i am so flipping excited, i just cant believe it. 22.3 pounds to go to 150 **gone for good** this goal is starting to look like i may possibly achieve it! 22.3 pounds in 6 weeks ... that's an average of 3.75 lbs a week. i need to be strict and just DO IT!!! **where is that Nike shirt when i need one??**

yay bronchitis
i feel like i am under water. i STILL cant hear worth anything.
you know i feel like crap when i go to CareNow. it is a walk in type clinic. one good thing - they have web check in so i didnt have to wait 3 hours in their waiting room. yup - 3 hours!!!
i called Steph and canceled tomorrow. i just dont have the energy to even think about working out. i am actually going to bed very soon.
i'm reading Jillian Michaels' (of Biggest Loser fame) book Winning By Losing. it's not bad.
back to low carbbing it tomorrow - menu is already planned. looks like i will be cooking quite a bit tomorrow. (Spicy Chicken for Wednesday - it tastes better when it sits a couple of days - and Sausage Quiche for tomorrow)

im sick ... yay . not.
i guess i have a sinus infection. not fun to have a sinus infection when you are on a plane. i thought my head was going to explode.
i did work out yesterday at a crappy 24 hour fitness ... they didnt even offer towels... well you could BUY one. i think not!
i am so close to my 220 miles for August goal ... only 11.6 miles to go. lets hope i can feel better to go work out. i do have an appointment with steph tomorrow. not sure how that is going to go. :(
i need to get back on the low carbbing. being out of town it is so difficult. we had to stay out shopping yesterday so we could pick up family pictures and DD was very hungry. so we went to Maggiano's - Italian. so i carbed it up there. this morning i started out with a Muscle Milk shake and it was awful (i guess not cold enough) so i went on to starbucks frapp. i had about 1/2 of it and just couldnt finish it.
sooooo ... back to low carbbing it tomorrow.

23August work out
great work out this morning. i really didnt feel like biking so i hopped on the ellipitcal for a ride! i think i'm getting sick. my throat is really sore.
on a good note, weight is down again ... 278.5 - lowest i've been. hopefully it will keep going D o w n ...
i will be having my "frappucino" (Atkins Caramel Latte shake) for breakfast.
i've really been slacking in the posting of food, but i am keeping track of it. i've just been so tired lately that i go to sleep soon after DD does.

21Aug PM workout
it was a very stressful day at work, so i went to go work out again in the early evening. didnt go very fast but i upped my resistance to 5-6 on the elliptical and as high as 8 on the bike. LOVE IT!!!
i am going out of town for the weekend, so i really need to kick it in gear if i want to make my challenge goal of 220 miles in August. i am up to 178.9 so far, but i need to keep going!!

worst PB ever... kind of graphic
damn . NO warning what so ever. I was DONE with dinner (1/4 piece of salmon) the pain was unbearable. it was the first time I actually *slimed*... and I didnt really PB, I threw up.. gut wrentching throwing up. I just hope I didnt slip my band.

my last fill
well it seems that my last fill has really worked...
my first day of 'normal' meals and we went for b-fast. about 1/3 of a
mini-denver omelet, 2 bites of a potato chunk, 1/4 piece of toast and
if I have one more bite I am going to explode (or PB really badly).
yay.. good restriction ... psychologically though, not so good. I
WANTED to eat more... I really need to work on that...

16 Aug work out
had a very good workout with Steph today. we did an interval 4 times, worked bike, shoulders, hamstrings, more shoulders/arms, obliques - thats all i can remember.
she knows just how hard to push me which i really like. what i love is that she gives me a great variety!
i am so excited. i am really bloated (feel F A T) today... and 2 women at the gym (never chatted with them before) told me how proud they were of me and am looking good.
i SO needed that today! :)
the good news is - - da da duhhhh... - even with a visit from TOM and eating the SF candy last night, down 5/8 of a pound.... sooooooooo close to 279. i even tried to push it to 279 7/8 and the scale just would not let me... oh well. now i have something to look forward to tomorrow!

well it started off good but PMS kicked in ... i did have 'chocolate' - at least it was the sugar free stuff ... and of course it just slid thru the band ...
i am really disappointed in myself. having DH get rid of the remaining chocolate in the house. i dont really even care what he does with it.

15 August work out (lack of) and stuff
i did not go this morning. my clothes are in my gym bag in the car in case i get a wild hair and go after work.
i'm having thigh issues. they are sore. really sore and i dont want to over exhert them.
since i didnt go work out today, i couldnt get on their scale, but i did get on mine and it said 278.6 ... i am not going to log it as my official wt until i see it on the scale at 24 hour fitness.
i go in for a fill tomorrow. my restriction is pretty much gone, i am just hoping that nothing has slipped or anything ... that would be a very bad thing! i just hope they can fill me properly. i am tighter in the mornings but they didnt have any afternoons available for a couple of weeks. you'd think since the demand was so high, they would hire someone / do something to accommodate more people! oh well..

it was a good day...
had a great dinner. sausage quiche. i will post the recipe on my website soon. i also made cheesecake which i have in my food "budget" but have not eaten yet... it is SOOOO easy and sooooooo good (and low carb friendly!!!)

well, it worked for me. in a very nice way.
i am now almost 120 pounds down! gack!! 30 more to go til my next mini goal of 150 gone. i hope to be able to do it by October 8 - my 'bandiversary'
i did come up with some guidelines for my free days... i think i will limit them to twice a month.

((tmi warning))) well, weight was up a bit this morning, but ummm, i think it was food still in my body that needed to be eliminated...
so i am only up a little bit - about 1 5/8. not bad considering my food fest yesterday. when i do this again, i am going to try and not make it like yesterday. that was not the best idea...
