07Aug work out

when i talked with Stephanie yesterday she suggested i up my resistance on the elliptical (i was going w/ a resistance of 1 but with an incline). today i upped it to 4 and got a great work out! in fact, i did one of my fastest miles - a tad over 11 minutes.

not so great news is that i am up .75 pound since yesterday. i am really trying not to obsess over it and just log it so i can track everything, but it's hard when the scale wont cooperate. i just need to remain focused and drink drink drink that stupid water ... :)

i am SOOO superstitious that i refuse to have "13" miles, so after i got on the bike i did (very quick) math and was like, OH NO ... i've done 13 miles today ... so i got on the elliptical for an additional .25 miles. when i got to work, i figured out i was over 13 miles and didnt really need the additional (it was really early). but the extra didnt kill me so wasnt too bad.
tonight is picture night, so i will post them either tonight or tomorrow...
